- Start, head south on the # 3, past Dayspring to Upper LaHave, Group "A" will continue on the # 3 through Rhode's Corner and at Center (near Lunenburg), take the # 352 to Bayport, Rosebay and swing up to the ferry at East Lahave. Meanwhile Group "B" at Upper Lahave will swing right onto the # 352, pass Bear Hill and Middle Lahave and catch the ferry to the other side. Folks can bring a lunch (always preferred) or stop off at the LaHave Bakery for lunch / snacks. Both groups will then merge and head up the west side of the LaHave River through Pleasantville and back to Bridgewater. I'm guessing Group "A" is about 60ks, while Group "B" is about 44ks

- Start, same place, hook up on the trail and head west, cross the river and head out to Hebbville (a stop at the Cranberry Bog, then Indian Garden Farm Market - owned by the Hebb family - 5 generations; currently Glen Hebb). Group "A" will then at Italy Cross turn onto the paved road, head toward Crousetown, turn left and head to Conquerall Mills, then into Hebbville, turning a left, then a quick right to pick up the trail back to the start. Group "B" at Italy Cross / or before return on the trail. Lunch will be enroute near Italy Cross - there is a nice picnic area at the end of Fancy Lake. I'm guessing Group "A" will se about 48k, Group "B" around 36ks or less if they return early.
